Eight stand-up paddleboards and six Maui Mats are racked at the beach shack. Free, first-come first-serve, for the length of your stay. Want to guarantee a board for a specific morning? Reserve one (see Equipment Reservations).

The water off our beach is protected, shallow, and calm — one of the kindest places to learn on the Cape. Our beach team stays on the sand all day: launches, quick instruction, a steadying hand for a first-timer, a push-off for the kids. Strong paddlers can hug the shoreline toward Woods Hole or push into the harbor for a closer look at the yachts. Kids can flop on a Maui Mat and be entertained for hours.
