The beach at Falmouth Tides is private, guest-only, and fronts the warm side of Vineyard Sound. It's sand — actual sand, not rock — and the water is shallow and calm enough for kids and first-time paddleboarders. To the west, the mouth of Falmouth Harbor. To the south, the silhouette of Martha's Vineyard, clear on a good day.

Chairs, umbrellas, and towels are stocked at the beach shack. Paddleboards and Maui Mats are a few yards away. Cornhole, beach volleyball, and a set of smokeless fire pits for the evening. Bring a book. Bring a bottle. We'll do the rest.
